Hey Brian (Fuzz), I recently spent sometime in Gwinn. Caught up with Bobby D & Nat, Had a goodtime at the Gwinn Inn too. Notice the change in my e-mail address. Looking for a cabin/home to rent on Little Shag - Lake. I'm hoping someone could put me in contact with someone willing to rent their cabin/house on Little Shag lake to a family of 4 for one week this summer. I appreciate the work of the chamber--great site and the guestbook is fun to scan for old friends. I am going for the current record for the oldest person to post. I graduated from high school in 1969 and attended Gwinn schools thru my junior year in 1968. Would love to see anybody from that era post. Hey Jackie! Sorry but records are made to be broken. I left GHS in December of '66 after two great years in the UP. So I guess I am the oldest to post a comment in this guestbook for a while anyway. You would think that some of those good folks we knew way back when would post a comment now and then on this website. I know Val Sardini would if he could spell. I would love to hear from some of our classmates from that era too. Where are you Randy Larson? You too Chris Palesotti. I know where the von der Hoffs are. What about you John Eisenhart or Bill Jaeger? How about Linda Fillizetti or Vicky Erickson? You guys can not all be dead. Some of you must still be kicking. Please get off your bottoms and contact Jackie or myself. The 100 year Gwinn celebration party is next year. It would be a great time for us to get together and talk about the ones who don't show up. Moved to Gwinn in 1962. Dad was civil service in KI battery shop. Graduated in 77 with the greatest people on earth. Married high school sweetheart (Darlene) in 78. Had three children, expecting 6th grandchild. 2008 events sound exciting - all should go.
