Comments It is my concern to find out if "hijacking" is a GA act and " ransom" is a type of sacrifice. The hijacking/piracy of ships at the Gulf of Aden by Somali armed men is now considered as GA by shipowner who are demanding from cargo interest to sign the required guarantee.
