Decided to do it ourselves and not on an organised tour - This involved 7 trains, 1 Funicular, a gondola, a funitel cable car, a pirate ship and a bus. Ended up travelling all day, trying to speak Japanese (failing), falling asleep everytime we sat down and to cap it all you could only make out the outline of Fuji 'cos of the haze and cloud. Bullet trains are sooooo cool though - smooth, quiet, fast and wide (2+3 seats). Off for a last night out in Roppongi tonight before heading North to Sapporo (1200km,14hours) tomorrow evening. Got to see the Pandas at the zoo too and now the Japs are playing Belgium got to fit that in as well....COME ON ENGLAND!!! Question? Does size really matter well apparently so in his case. I remember the efficient JB making sure all the details are correct for all transfers including his own but after a troubled trip to the village he the transfer mogul of La Tania ventures back to GVA using the train. Having spotted the train marked Geneva he wanders to the back carriages and relaxes with his butties and beloved Sarah all excited that he has pioneered another way to the airport and assure his clients that 3VT is much better than SNCF. It wasn't until the lights went out at Annecy centre or the fact that cleaners get on now at main stations that they started to check their tickets which they had kept hidden from the ticket man because Sarah was supposed to be 12 had they shown them ......
